Heinz Wagner Sekt
The Heinz Wagner sparkling wine factory in St. Blasien in the Black Forest, located 777 meters above sea level, is the highest sparkling wine factory in Germany. Since 2016, Maximilian Wagner has continued the family tradition by combining traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation. With high-quality, non-alcoholic sparkling wine, Heinz Wagner offers an incomparable taste experience. The factory attaches great importance to sustainable production and the use of regional ingredients, which is what makes its products particularly special.
The sparkling wine manufacturer
Maximilian Wagner, founder and winemaker of the Heinz Wagner Sekt brand, has made it his mission to revive an old family tradition and bring it into the modern age.
The name "Heinz" comes from his grandmother Hedwig Heinz, whose family has a long history in winemaking. His great-great-grandfather Heinrich Heinz was even a co-founder of the Kallstadt winegrowers' association. So winemaking is in Max Wagner's blood.
With Heinz Wagner Sekt, he succeeds in uniting the tradition of both family names and reinterpreting them through his high-quality products.
In particular, Heinz Wagner's non-alcoholic sparkling wine represents a modern version of traditional values and offers an exquisite, non-alcoholic alternative to sparkling wine.
Sustainable production: quality and environmental awareness
The base wines and musts of the Heinz Wagner Sektmanufaktur come from the nearby region of South Baden. Thanks to the short production routes, the high quality of the sparkling wine can be ensured while control over the entire process is maintained and CO₂ emissions are minimized.
The Heinz Wagner sparkling wine manufacturer focuses on sustainability and innovation: the sparkling wine bottles are printed directly so that paper labels are no longer required. This measure saves Heinz Wagner up to 20,000 liters of water every year.
